There are few names in businesses that
manage to make as much of an impact in such short of a time span as the
OnePlus. This is one of those rare success stories, where a fantastic and
feature filled device has been made so affordable that it simply blew all the
competition out of the water. So, buyers and critics have been anxiously
waiting and lining up for the OnePlus 2release. The successor phone has some very large shoes to fill and hence, it
comes as no surprise that the interest and buzz surrounding the details on this
upcoming phenomenon, including OnePlus 2
features and price is, well, phenomenal.
OnePlus One was dubbed as the flagship
killer and by the looks of it, despite not too many improvements over the
pioneer model per se, the OnePlus 2 does manage to come with excellent
features. The second iteration of the device comes with a 5.5 inch screen, OnePlus’s
latest Oxygen OS, octa core super-fast Snapdragon 810 chipset and a massive 3GB
RAM with 16GB internal storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The main
feature which distinguishes this handset is the new fingerprint sensor which
smoothly unlocks the phone in a second. This is one of the hottest topics of
discussion when it comes to the OnePlus
2 release.
However, two areas where the first and
second iterations of the handset are just the same are the screen and the
camera, which remain unchanged in both devices. The screen was always fantastic
to begin with and the camera is also one of the best you’ll find around today. The
OnePlus 2 comes at an interesting time and at an interesting price, when so
many flagships are competing for sales, and are coming out with special offers
before the holiday season. The OnePlus 2 is set to be available from August 11th
in US, Europe and India.
The Chinese smartphone maker is clearly out
to prove that the OnePlus One was not a one hit wonder, as the successor phone
seems to be just as good as the former. The OnePlus 2 features and price both seem to match expectations with especially
the price not being so exorbitant that it turns away prospective buyers this
time around. However, on the downside, this time around too the same invite
system will plague buyers, as this time too demand is expected to surpass
supply. On the bright side, OnePlus claims that shipping will faster this time
around and just signing up on the invite list means you stand a chance at
gaining the new handset.
