Micromax, the Gurgaon, Hariyana based
Indian mobile manufacturer has launched the next generation of its variously
appreciated flagship device – Yu Yureka. At the end of last year, this company
revealed its cyanogens OS 11 supported Yu Yureka in an economical price. This
year, when it is not even a year of the previous launch, Micromax included Yu
Yuphoria, another flagship device but not with so many thumbs up like earlier.
Now, continuing the journey Micromax unfolded Micromax Yu Yureka Plus.
Like the earlier one, the newest Yureka
device is also featuring Cyanogen. Cyanogen OS 12 comes pre-loaded in this
device, which is based on the latest updated Android Lollipop 5.0.2. That
means, it will get the back up of Cyanogen and the advancement of Android
Lollipop.
The MicromaxYu Yureka Plus is flaunting a 5.5 inch IPS touch screen, like its
predecessor along with the support of 2G/3G/4G networks. The full HD display of
this smartphone includes 1920x1080 pixel that refers to the clarity and
sharpness of the screen. The display glass is protected by the popular
smartphone glass maker Corning, which has provided the support of the Corning
Gorilla Glass 3, the latest and the hardest one amongst the smartphone display
glasses in the modern market.
According to the latest smartphone news, this technologically evolved device gets
the back up of Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor along with Adreno
405 GPU and 2GB RAM. 13MP/5MP rare and front camera along with LED flash
support adds wings to its wonderful specs list. Including Proximity and
G-Sensor with few other notable ones, this mobile gets the power support of
2500mAh battery, which lasts long up to 210 hours.
Now, the question arises that, what makes
it different from its predecessor. Then, the answer is clear. Nothing as such,
apart from the latest updated Cyanogen OS based on the recent version of
Android Lollipop and some small changes, which cannot be defined even until and
unless one is taking the initiative to inform you. Then what makes the company
release another smartphone to feature all the old specs with little bit of
enhancement, so early? May be, with the gradually growing competition in the
present global market,
Yu Yureka is lost somewhere in the gathering of
economical smartphones and hence, the company has taken the initiative this way
to rescue its YU platform. In that
case, Yu Yuphoria’s negative response in the market can be another reason
behind this launch.
