LG’s Rolly Keyboard set to launch at IFA 2015

For all those smartphone and tablet users that find it difficult to type on their device, LG seems to have found a way to ease their pain. LG unveils a foldable keyboard that should be a huge hit in the market. They have said that the “Rolly Keyboard” will be launched at the IFA 2015 which takes place in Berlin next month. The name only reflects the functionality of the foldable keyboard that LG claims can fit in your pocket. But people might say that there are a number of portable keyboards already out there so why choose this one? Well, let’s find out why.

Design: For starters, even though the keyboard is portable and foldable, it is far from tiny. In fact it is just a millimeter smaller than the regular sized 18 millimeter keyboards that are being used for desktops. This makes tying on it easy and simple. There is enough of space to between the keys so that you do not keep typing wrongly. The Rolly Keyboard is built to last because of its polycarbonate body which is impact resistant. In order to get the keyboard as small as they possibly can, it folds at the four rows of keys so that it can easily be carried around in any medium sized bag.

The keys are of the highest quality and soft to the touch for a pain free typing experience. There are two stands that fold out from the keyboard when unfolded to hold a smartphone or a tablet. The keyboard connects to the device via Bluetooth 3.0 which gets activated as soon as the keyboard is pulled out. Any smartphone can be held in place and tablets that are at least 10 inches will connect to the keyboard. The keyboard runs on a “AAA” battery that has the power to last up to 3 months of normal use. The KBB-700 aka Rolly Keyboard is a one of a kind accessory for your tablet or smartphone because it doesn’t only connect to one device. It can connect to two devices simultaneously and users can switch between them by just a push of a button.

The price of the keyboard is not yet known but should vary from country to country. It will launch in America and then in Europe and Asia. The Rolly Keyboard is definitely something to look forward to this year at the IFA and a “must have” accessory for all LG users around the world.
