Microsoft Windows might be ruling the computer world, but
when it comes smartphone manufacturing, the company seems to be hitting all the
wrong notes. When compared to the other operating systems in the market like
android, iOS or even Xiaomi’s MIUI, Windows’s stands no chance. But there is
speculation about a couple of new arrivals out of the Microsoft Company that
could ignite the sales of their almost extinct devices. A tablet named the
Surface Pro 4 and the Band 2 from Microsoft are reportedly about to make their
presence felt later this year. If this is true, it could be the latest handheld news from the company and if
the specifications suite the customers, might be a brilliant move to keep the
company in the race for smartphone glory.
These two new arrivals will not be alone in helping
Microsoft reach its former glory but the fight will not be easy and if they do
not bring their “A” game to the table, this could be the beginning of the end
of the company’s dealing in mobile technology. There are two Windows 10 phones
that could launch along with the above mentioned phones and could be a huge
help in raising the company’s name from the ashes. The Lumia 950 and Lumia
950XL will join the Surface Pro 4 and Band 2 in what seems to be an October
launch. Nicknamed the Cityman (950XL) and the Talkman (950), these phones could
bring something newer and fresher to the Microsoft name.
Not much is known about any of the 4 devices, but whatever
has been leaked, if true, could be the key to a huge comeback by the company.
For the Surface Pro 4, what is known is that there could be a fingerprint
sensor located on the Surface keypad which will be a specialized keyboard for
the tab. Rumors say that the Pro 4 will be an upgraded version of the Pro 3
that was fondly accepted by users around the world. It launched last year so if
there is a better version of it just a year later, customers could jump at the
opportunity of an exchange offer. In the same way, the Band 2 should be a
revamped Band released by Microsoft in April this year.
The other two awaited releases, the Talkman and the Cityman
should be the focal point for Microsoft to get back into the game because it
seems like they will be the strongest contenders. These two devices, if
released, will be the best phones in the Microsoft army till date. The Talkman
(950) is said to house a 5.2 inch display that will be run a Snapdragon
processor and have an impressive 3GB RAM. With a 20 megapixel rear facing
camera and a 5 megapixel front facing one, taking amazing pictures should be
nothing more than a click away. The best feature is that it will have 32GB of
space along with a memory card slot for even more space (if needed). The
Cityman (950XL) will probably have all the same features as the Talkman except
for a bigger 5.7 inch display and a better Snapdragon 810 processor as compared
to the 808 of the Talkman. We will have to wait and see what exactly the
company is ready to bring to its fans but we all hoping for something big. All
we have now is Microsoft latest
smartphone news and rumors to go by which is brought to you by KnowYourHandheld.
